Saw this on Saturday when the fiance and I went out for a ride. Looks to be a 68-72, left hand drive (I assume all Americas were) and what I’m assuming is a rare automatic? Pretty damn good condition too.
Not pictured, a bright orange 2WD Ural Patrol that a couple had ridden down from Laconia, NH.

I saw one of these a while back in not near as good of condition. Neat cars though.

Are you joining in on the meet up this weekend? Hudson isn’t that far

An Austin 1300 wouldn’t of been my first choice from the BMC/British Leyland, etc... stable to have.
Personally I’d have the 1970 Rover 3.5litre coupe.
But that Austin looks in fantastic condition.

Oooh, an 1100/1300!
Don’t see them very often, or at all. Yes, automatics were rare. They used the same one as the Mini. A four speed, not common at the time. Parts are unobtainable now so many survivors have been given manual boxes which means a new engine too.

Down On The Street - sorry, that was commonplace enough here.

I’d really, really like to but having been on vacation for 2 weeks, then not getting to the yard work last weekend, I am REALLY behind on stuff :-/
